Toys are one of my favorite things to shoot at Comic Con. Why? Primarily because the lighting and isolation in the display cases are superb, unlike the show floor, where uneven incandescent lighting and busy backgrounds are almost impossible to avoid. Also, their poses are usually stunning, as if time stopped during their most devastating attack. And lastly, they can hold the same pose for hours. The ideal models.
I try to call them action figures when possible to sound more adult, but who am I kidding. They're toys! Regardless of what they're called, you can't dispute their craftsmanship.
